Damn tv fooled me then. Rain did not look that heavy.
I cannot imagine an AU, BAMA, UGA, UF, UT, etc stadium being half empty in an SEC home opener.
What an embarrassment to the SEC. TS does NOT deserve its reputation anymore if LSU fans can't sit through a little rain in the SEC home opener.

It really is not that big a deal to me. Look at the Spring game attendence. Not saying this game was not relevant, but the weather and the fact that the game never really seemed in doubt contributed to alot of people checking out. Tiger Stadium will be rocking for real when the chips are down and the stakes are higher.
You can talk all you want about how shameful you think it is, the mystique is real though. You can't expect the same electicity for Vanderbilt on a miserable day that you would get for Florida on a chilly clear Saturday night.
