We have a good defense. OL still not completely settled. DBs are underrated (Memphis only had 150 passing yards) but LBs missed too many tackles. In the past a game like that would've gone down to the wire. We turned the ball over 3 times and still scored 45.

Were you happy with Snead's play?

Meh, his decision making was subpar. He was out of sync but our play calling was very questionable. He forced too many throws ala early last season.

Memphis is a solid team, they have some talented players and transfers from good programs. Their style of play is hard to defend.

Glad to see the input...I missed the game, but I did read WRT's synopsis...

I'm glad you can tell it like it is and not write a 3 page excuse

+1. Agree with everything you posted. We had bright spots and we had dark spots. In the past, we would've let it get us down and ended up grinding down to a close loss. This years team expects to win, regardless of how we play for most of the game.

I give Memphis alot of credit for disrupting our game plan and putting our offense off balance for the first half. Their fans however, are garbage and deserve to be driven off a cliff in a city buss lined with switch blade knives and glass bottles full of sulfuric acid.

It was pretty bad IMO. In fact, I laughed at times while watching the game when I thought about Elisha calling Kent Austin a genius.
