I am just disputing this idea you are putting out there that Nutt actually won 8 games with a bunch of nobodies. He had some players.


I'm not saying that he won 8 games with nobody's.
I'm saying the reason that he didn't win 10 or 11 games like a lot of people thinks he should have is because he just had average talent everywhere except the backfield, and shitty talent at the most important position.

Well if the expectation was 10 or 11 games, he didn't meet that expectation did he? He could have beaten Alabama. He could have beaten Auburn. He shouldn't have lost to Kentucky (could say the same for us, I know).

10 games was possible that year. A good coach could have gotten them there. Nutt didn't.
