I still think it was terrible how they ran Fulmer out the way they did. I heard Clawson speak at a function literally a month or two before they canned them all, and he sounded really upbeat about the future of the program. He kept hinting that they didn't have the players to run the offense yet. It all comes down to recruiting the right players.

After 2005, Fulmer had no room for error.

you must not remember how Majors was run out. Fulmer was one of his asst. coaches and I think Major's last words were "et tu Phillip". as far as I'm concerned, you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
