This rumor is making its rounds, and gaining strength - being confirmed by those close to members in the AD. Not a "done deal" at this point, but we're getting there.

Nice, props to your AD..do you play Florida that year?

Also who are your other East teams that you play that year?

Maybe we will beat them for the first time. I think we are 0-8 vs. Texas.

There goes that Saban guy again, scheduling games that he won't be at Bama to coach.

I do believe we play Florida in 2012. We will also be playing the annual game against Tennessee, and I believe we'll have Vanderbilt back on the schedule for 2012... Could be wrong about that one.

Texas already has a neutral site game every year. I'd be surprised if we got a deal with them or OU.

A reporter in BAMA is saying that it is a done deal.

I saw that on the Rap sheet today, but I didn't see a team mentioned. Just "a big 12" team. If it's Texas I'd be thrilled.

I like we are playing Texas, but why give them a home game for the right to do it.

Because it will be much better for us to beat them in Texas if we win. It wil be better for recruiting.

It'll be in Texas, but it won't be no stinking home game. Bama fans will take care of our allotted tickets plus some.

Yeah, kinda like beating Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl. We recruited and got Greg McElroy outta that win. He was orginally a Tex Tech lean & Shula pulled him away.

Just 2 years ago, we played the same team that you are opening the 2009 season up with...lol. Sorry that we have to have Florida on our Schedule and not Tennessee every year.

tickets have nothing to do with it being a home game for UT. I guess you guys think the FSU game was "neutral" as well.
