This is great news for the SEC! I hope next year we prove ESPN and all of the college basketball expects wrong who said that the SEC is not a MAJOR power conference in basketball. I think next year we will be as good or better (as a conference) as the ACC and Big East.

UK will kill you more. At least Pearl can compete with Cal. We beat a team like next year's UK team ('08 Memphis). Pearl and Cal play a similar style. Plus, why would Arky fans talk bball smack?

if chism quits shooting threes i think tennessee can battle kentucky for the east. i think calathes leaving kinda relegates florida to third best in that division for now.

I agree to an extent, but the line-up was pretty much finalized today with the news of a few players leaving. We'll actually be 1 scholly under the limit even if Meeks returns.
If Jodie comes back, then we will have everything. Shooters, depth, size galore. We might not kill people, but we won't be losing games that we SHOULD win.
I love guys coming back to make the teams in our Conference stronger.

Im looking forward to both Tennessee and Kentucky coming to the HUMP in Starkville, Mississippi this basketball season. They should be the 3 top teams in the SEC IMO.
