another SEC team? UT has 24 straight over UK. Any better than that?

Bama-Vandy should be close...

UT/UK is the longest active streak in the country, I believe.
LSU has a pretty impressive streak against State-something like 13 of the last 14.

Florida over itself?
Tennessee has the honors, I believe. We assumed the mantle of longest active streak when Navy beat Notre Dame in 2007, although we are still well behind that record of 43 straight.
When and if Kentucky ever beats us, the title will fall to Florida, who currently has the nation's second-longest active winning streak over -- you guessed it -- Kentucky.

This is correct.
As crappy as last year was, we kept 2 streaks alive. The dominance over UK, and not losing 8 games. After Michigan's 9-loss season, UT and Ohio State are the only 2 remaining D-1 schools to never have an 8-loss season in the history of their programs.

the last time they beat us was 82,i think....

We lost to them in 1984. We officially lost to them in 1993 due to having to forfeit, but we beat them on the field that year.

If Bama hadn't forfeited the streak would be at 20. Vandy last won in 1984
