Take out Danny Nutt, add in "anything dealing with HDN on any level at all, anywhere at anytime" and the message is still the same.




Let me start by saying this, in plain English, and for all to hear/read, “DANNY NUTT ON THE OLE MISS SIDELINES IN THE FIRST 3 QTRS IS AGAINST NCAA RULES AND HIS PRESENCE THERE SHOULD BE DEALT WITH USING GUIDELINES SET FORTH BY THE NCAA FOR THIS PROBLEM”. Okay? Everyone got that? Good. Now, that being said I have to take issue with something about this situation. What, in the name of all that is holy, are hog fans doing with their nose buried in DN’s back side? Didn’t you get rid of the Nutts? Don’t you claim on a daily (and more likely, hourly) basis that you didn’t want them in Fayetteville any longer than it took for them to pack up the moving van and fill’er up with a tank of 89 octane? Aren’t you the ones delighting in our “poor choice of coach” and “inevitable failure of the program run by a snake oil salesman”?
Since HDN’s hire, our message boards, call in radio programs and news media outlets have been infected with hogvillians spewing hatred, vindictiveness and scorned lover rhetoric about HDN and his staff. Why? What’s your obsession with this man that you obviously don’t want anything to do with? You hate him, wanted him gone, believe he is a terrible coach and for all intents and purposes, wish him nothing but failure in life. So leave him alone!!!! He is our coach, and our “problem” now. Your obsession with his downfall and your need for involvement in this cause is psychotic and completely irrational behavior. You are the equivalent of a divorcee’ who still meddles in the affairs of their previous spouse for years after the proceedings are final. Driving by their house on weekends, calling early in the morning to see if someone of the opposite sex answers, rifling through their trash each day, following them around town in your rental car to see if their tags are out of date, who their passenger is and calling your “police buddy” to let them know that your ex just made a u-turn when it’s CLEARLY marked illegal. There are no words to describe how pathetic and ridiculous this makes you look. However I will try; wretched, dismal, pitiable, useless, feeble, deplorable, lamentable, regrettable, awful, horrible, terrible; distressing, disturbing, upsetting and woeful, all come to mind when I think about how your fans base has acted during this transition. My personal favorite is unprintable.
Don’t bring up our former coaches situations and attempt to turn the situation around on us. Tubby left on his own (not in a pine box as he promised would be the case), Cut was fired for lack of performance and talent, and for the most part, our fans hold no ill will against him and openly wish him luck at Duke.
I understand the he “left the cupboard bare” and you are more than welcome to hold him accountable for this problem with a few comments on hog radio, or a few messages on your boards. Key word there is YOUR. I’ll state it loud and clear, there is not one OM fan anywhere in the world, at any age, race, color, creed or religion who values your opinions… ever. And you are quickly bringing the rest of the civilized world into the fold. Go away, we are happy with our choice. Should we ever become unhappy with our choice, we STILL won’t care. Patting his pockets…”Where did I put that rat’s a** I could give…”
You just beat LSU for the 2nd time in 2 years, have shown bright spots in an otherwise forgettable season, and have what you yourselves have deemed “a coach who will put us in the hunt for a NC within the next 3 years”. Focus on the positives of your own program (although from your behavior, I think the negatives are far easier for you to focus on) and try to avoid looking like jealous 2 years olds who just dropped your blow pop in the sand box and have to watch your friend enjoy his. Is EXACTLY who I’m talking to. You are truly, truly an embarrassment to your school, fans, sports programs, faculty and staff. If I were you, I’d sell everything I owned, move to the jungles of Bolivia and pray for a flesh eating bacteria to devour me slowly over the next 10 years as penance for my interference. The sports Gods do not take kindly to crazy humans doing their jobs. Should there be some cosmic sports payback coming to HDN (I can’t imagine why) for something he did at Arky, they will handle it.
In summation: You did not want HDN. You let him go/forced him out/fired him. We wanted him. We hired him. He is now OUR responsibility. You should focus on your own problems/successes/failures and we’ll focus on our, um… successes. Thank you for the SEC COY (yes, it’s not official, but arguably true). If there is anything we can do for you in the future… keep it to yourselves. Peace, and have a nice day.

You are absolutely right about this. I have heard second hand from a highly reliable source that everything in these charges is false. There were no brass knuckles, he did not "start" anything, he didn't steal anything, and there was no damage to either vehicle. The charges weren't even filed until 2 days later once Jamar's identity was known. That night, an officer showed up, called my the people at the restaurant, mediated the dispute between the two vehicles, wrote no tickets and took no one to jail. Ordered both vehicles to leave and not come back. Period.

Maybe.
But I bet there are 30-40 thugs/assclowns on every SEC football team.
This only different because kid got caught doing something he shouldn't have been doing.
