Call it what you want, but losing to UT screwed your chances of the SECG, not the BCS. I hate the system, but it's what we got for now.

I agree completely. His 13-1 SEC CHAMPIONSHIP year with a loss to UF was SOOOO MUCH different than LSUs 13-1 year with a loss to UF....or UFs 2 seperate 13-1 years.

2007, in my opinion LSU and UGA should've played for the NC..

It should have been LSU vs. UGA. It's a shame two schools can't play for the NC

NO, Richt is not going to be fired anytime soon. It is about the same as saying LSU will fire Miles if he wins only eight games next year. Its not going to happen. End of story.

Delusional. It used to be a close one every year, but those days are over.

Richt is a great coach like many others in the SEC. As a conference, we need to keep all the exceptional coaches we can and then lure the rest that are not in the SEC.

Winning an NC is soo hard and yes you are right you have to have that luck.

And tubby wasn't? I agree with the SEC having excellent coaches, but every now and then a great one gets shite canned.

At some point you have to want more. mark richt will never win the NC because you have to run up the score these days and he won't do that.

He won't do what Urban did to ya'll in Jacksonville, and thats the name of the game now.

truer words have never been spoken. After years of garbage LSU wanted more. We thought a winning season was great, but not anymore.

The thing is though, Richt needs to stop losing to Tennessee or Florida and just beat both of them in one season. That is why he has no NC.

Tubby was and is a great coach. Hated to see him leave the SEC. Naturally not every coach that gets fired from the SEC is a bad coach. I don't think Fulmer is a bad coach either. He just wore out his stay at Tenn.

That's not going to happen any time soon. We both know that

It was definately time for Fulmer to step down. I still don't understand their new hire though. If all they wanted publicity, they could have just solely hired Orgeron. I'm assuming Monte is the reason.
