If Ryan Perilloux had not been an idiot and not kicked off the team, LSU would have likely gone 10-2 at worst. Based on the scores, you would have to figure he would have made a difference in the Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas games. He may have made a difference against Ole Miss but I will chalk that up as a loss. Lets say that Ryan Perilloux doesn't go pro and is LSU's starting QB going into this year. Coming off of a 10-2 season, we would be the favorite to not only win the SEC West but be a national title contender for sure.

So, because Les Miles does the "right" thing and kicks him off the team, he now is on borrowed time? He sucks now? So if he had kept Ryan Perilloux, he would likely have 4 straight 10 plus seasons, but because he kicks Ryan Perilloux off, now he is the 7th best coach in the SEC. Give me a break. Someone intelligent explain that logic to me.

Also, in a developing situation if your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle.

If Bama beats UGA in OT and finds away to get a first down against LSU late in the 4th quarter I would argue that Nick Saban would've went to the SECCG his first two years at Bama.

See two can play this game.

You're right. Two can play that game. However, the difference is people are basing their opinion on Les Miles based on his 8-5 record last year and not on the fact that if he would have kept Perilloux he would have gone 10-2 and people wouldn't be questioning him as a coach. Amazing how doing the right thing makes someone look worse in the eyes of the public.

Just talking about Les Miles. If you asked people on this board, think there was a thread about this actually, people rank Miles 7th best in the SEC. Rivals ranked him barely in the top 25. So, Tim Tebow committed a felony and was kicked off the team and Florida went 8-5 with a new quarterback, Urban Meyer sucks all of a sudden?

If we said yes, would it make you feel better?

Why are you seeking confirmation on an internet message board filled with your rivals?

How in the frick is that a fact?

Your defense sucked cock all year long and up until the bowl game, your coaches couldn't coach the 72' Dolphins to a victory.

Perrilloux signed with Miles when he wouldn't have signed with Saban, because of Saban's reputation as a disciplinarian. We heard that for years from vitriolic Saban haters until the whole situation blew up in Miles' face because Miles simply has more problems controlling his team than Saban did.

He was Miles' liability and Miles has to take some of the blame for the situation; it wasn't just "bad luck". That said, had he stayed, we probably would have won enough games to where the fans would not care about Malveto and we would never get over the hump again due to how terrible our defense would be every year.

The 2008 season was a culmination of things that had been brewing for years under this coaching staff, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise that forced Miles to take a serious look at the way he was running things and clean out the program.

Either way, I don't think Miles is on the "hot seat".

I think they probably would have finished 10-3. I think they would have still won their bowl game and probably would have pulled out 2 of 4 against UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

Actually I am glad it worked out this way, we got rid of that defensive scheme that was going down hill when BP left.

We will be better than ever and shut all these smart azzed Bama fans mouths.
