Meyer may be a great coach, great recruiter, a Saint, Christ himself, and savior of the world....but I have said and will always say, he is without a doubt, the BIGGEST douche bag coach in college football.

He was a pompous arse before he got to UF, now's he's almost unbearable. I really want to like Tebow-I think the only reason I root against him is because he is aligned with Meyer.

PS- Nothing gave me more joy than watching him squeam around on the Fox's NC game set when we won in 2007 and Jai Eugene messed up his hair.

Man, memory is short. Chizik was hired by Lowder to be a "yes" man. Let's not forget that. If that was not true Kevin, then why did they convert one of Tuberville's former conference rooms into a new office for Pat Dye? Does Pat Dye need an office at Auburn? After getting smeared by Florida in 1990, Pat went on to a losing record the next 2.5 years. He left my beloved Auburn in disgrace. Now, we've hired a guy who was clearly our 9th or 10th choice and we're propping him up based on a week long limo rental yet, we're ignoring his association and ties to the creator of Auburn's biggest football scandal ever.

If Spring time creates such a dearth of topics for football that you have to write about Urban Meyer's spat with Shane Matthews, why not do the old B-ham News trick of "creating" news? Why not start a series on Chizik's obvious ties to Pat Dye? I mean, wasn't it news that Obama had ties to Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers? Why doesn't the media hammer this clown for being the complete suck-up to Jay Jacobs, Tim Jackson, Pat Dye and Bobby Lowder that he is?
