Look at the other thread. The arky talk has no place here anymore.

Saban went 9-4 in 04 with Jamarcus Russell, Glen Dorsey, Claude Wroten, Joe Addai, Dwayne Bowe, Craig Davis, Laron Landry, Marcus Spears. All were 1st round picks except for Wroten. All in the NFL. Saban has bombed with great talent as well.

I don't hate on LSU for being 2007 champs because we must (or at least we do) crown a champ every year.

I do hate on Les for it though. Because without West virginia losing I doubt any LSU fan would stand up for him.

Another unicorn bama fan. West Virginia did lose. LSU did win the NC. Your make believe scenario's in the past don't change that, no matter how much it pisses you off.

With all of that talent what was Saban's excuse?

Yes he did. Lost to Iowa in the Cap One on Jan 1, 2005. I consider that the 2004 season if you're just trying to argue semantics and be a dick.

Why do you think nationally he's regarded as a joke? it's not just Bama fans.

and if this team happened lost in week 2 things would be different. and if this team hadnt lost in week 7 things would be different.

i love how people only focus on the last week of the season.

He's not regarded as a joke. Les knows what he's doin. Nobody wins in the SEC with 1st year starters at qb. Bama will find out this year.

Because it's natural for us to want to diminish everything possible about opposing teams, especially when they present a possible threat to your own team. If you really didn't worry about Les, you wouldn't continue to post so much hate about him. You would be happy about the situation, rather than trying to strike a nerve in the fanbase by having it collapse. Because a collapse just means we start again and try to get another coach that will win. This isn't 1995 for LSU. We're one of the most successful teams this decade and the department understands the bottom line. Our first hire from Alleva was Trent Johnson. Alleva is a finance guy, and he knows that the bread winner is football.

LSU lost 3 games in 2004. Auburn, Georgia, Iowa. If you're trying to argue semantics like wins and losses get your shite together and gather the facts.

No, you're just being a dick on the matter. So do you call us 2008 NC's too just to be a pain in the arse about worthless shite on the board because you can?

what in the frick are you talking about? the guy said LSU lost 4 games in 2004. I said no he didn't and you responded yes he did. Then I owned you with the fact that we only lost 3 games (Auburn, Georgia, and Iowa) and you're still stuck on some bullshite about the year.
