I guess they haven't proven enough to those poll voters. I'd have them ranked top 5 if I did a poll for sure. Especially after tonight's win.

How can UGA still be ranked ahead of LSU in a poll.

Because they don't want to give us any respect!

One of my fellow Hog fans asked this question to the one of the guys at Baseball America and this is his explaination of why we are still ranked so low.
Aaron Fitt: The teams ahead of Arkansas keep winning games. Even Georgia, which lost a series to LSU this weekend, still went 3-2, earning two quality wins against a good Clemson team. We weren't going to hammer the Bulldogs after that week. Arkansas deserves to be in the top 10 based on what it has done this season, but so do the teams ahead of it. And at the end of the day, as much as I like Arkansas (I'll remind you that we were just about the only outlet to rank the Hogs in the preseason), I still think LSU and Georgia will finish better in the end. Both those teams are more secure on the mound.

So, from what I can gather, they rank the teams on how they expect them to finish instead of the product that has been played on the field already.

That's understandable.
I don't get this comment, though.... when was this chat done?

For instance, Arkansas is 0-0 against the top 25, but the Hogs have played a very solid, challenging schedule against many quality opponents.

Hate to say it, but if Arkansas had "LSU" or "Texas" across its jersey, it would be top 5 in all the major polls. It is a shame that polls work in this fashion and I think Arky should be in the top 5.

I agree. It's always been that way... no matter the sport. I don't mind it, however.
