We played them in 2007 after Central Michigan (if memory serves) backed out on us.

We have the worst AD in the SEC, by far.

The Law Firm of Gardener-Webb = Beasts. They almost beat Ga Tech last year, they had a 43 yard field goal blocked with time expiring for a 10-7 loss.
By the way, there is no official confirmation we are playing them next year as of right now...

One FCS team has kept teams out of contention...two will garantee it.
You mind as well be Utah.

Is Skip Bertman acting as a consultant now for other SEC teams in making their OOC schedules ? Gardner Webb must have turned LSU down.

Only one of two people that are to blame for no mascot. I was at the school when Pete pulled Colonel Reb from the sidelines. Alum haven't been happy with him since. At least the alums I have talked to. You would think OOC should be scheduled a little farther out though

Yeah, they'll be sure to boost up the SOS.

By rule that means Ole Miss will need at least 7 wins to become eligible. Im sure they will get that and more but 6-6 wont do it for the Rebs this year.

Allegedly... I've also heard strong rumors at some point that we are playing TCU, App St., KSU, etc...

Florida Atlantic
Houston
Kentucky
Mississippi
Rutgers
Only 5 teams needing to pick up an OOC obviously we can't play ourselves, and it's not our year to pick up Kentucky so those are the three others in our division we are left with. Rutgers is the only one with Set dates listed and our off one 10/3 would work.

So that means if Ole miss as a record like LSU, and goes 7-5 in the regular season (not saying it will happen) they only count 1 win vs an FCS team (the bowl committee), you'll be very close to not getting a bowl

If confirmed that puts our OOC at Memphis, UAB, SELA, and Gardner-Webb. Great.
