jeez, Bama uses this bs legend to prop itself up worse than LSU used Katrina. Integration was coming real soon, regardless of that game. Maybe it got those hicks in Tuscaloosa to think about recruiting black players, but the rest of the nation, and the south could see it coming without that stupid game.

but, Alabama put it on television for all the world to see. I think there were several other schools in the SEC that were already integrated when that game occured. I think Kentucky was the first SEC school to have a black player and I think we had a freshmen that was black but back then the freshmen squad and the Varsity squad were seperate.

I-59 will know what Southern team was the first to integrate.
