I saw that - it was WILD.

Pitcher be like running around crazy trying to find the ball and it's in his jersey.

This is insane, but should have been ruled an out. He caught the ball

Read elsewhere that a ball has to be caught by hand or glove for it to be considered a catch.

Yes. You can catch it with your hat but that's using your hat as a glove.
