I’m not happy Kiffin left Ole Miss and I don’t think we’re “better off without him”,

so let’s establish that. My question for LSU fans is this. What is expected from Kiffin’s Tigers for the ‘26 season? If he hasn’t won a Championship within two years will you be disappointed? I’m asking for reasonable responses. I’m sure I’ll regret this.

Seriously though, I want a playoff berth within the first three years. That seems reasonable, but I don’t think anyone in the conference knows how this 9 game SEC schedule is going to play out. That really cannot be ignored.

I don't have an expectation for his record in his first year. I am much more interested in seeing how the offense develops with so many new pieces. I am also very interested to see what this defense does. IF the defense is legit, will that make Lane coach differently on 4th down situations than he has in the past?
I am not expecting him to just come out of the gate kicking everyone's arse. These things take time to build and Brian Kelly let this thing go further south than he should have. I am really looking at what the team looks like in year 1 versus the results.

A prepared team via game plans and a team playing with drive and determination.Thats what has been lacking for 3 years and yet LSU still won 7-10 games a year.Its going to be fun to watch a team who is well coached and gives a shite.

With the money that was spent on the roster, not making the playoffs this season would be a disappointment, but not the end of the world. I'm not convinced by these mercenary rosters yet. I want to see how the program evolves and I want a fence around LA recruit wise. Overall I just want this program to be fun and relevant again.

I don’t think the LSU fanbase ever expects to win a football national title. Most years the vibe is a disaster waiting to happen until the few times it hasn’t. But those few times are why we do it.

I think Ole Miss beats LSU this year. After that, LSU will own the Runts. Kiffin in playoffs year 2.
