Lot of good tidbits but I liked this one
When he said he wanted to fix the run game, they took care of that. Hopefully they are able to improve in these areas too.

I haven't enjoyed your attitude since joining the board. I'm bringing content to this place and all you focus on is what I didn't do. Very woman-like

What exactly have you brought?

I just started a thread on a very relevant topic and even added an opinion. I don't understand what is causing the uproar
What are your thoughts on the team entering spring? Any position battles intrigue you?
I'm excited about the new OLB coach. I think he can help our pass rush

The list of players out for the spring so far seems encouraging. Gabe Harris is a vet and this means more reps for JJA and the new guy from Auburn and whoever else.
The only one that could hurt down the road is Zayden Walker. He's the best looking inside linebacker prospect to me since Roquan imo. It's not often when Kirk Herbstreit is stunned, but when Zayden Walker tracked down Tyler Watts in the SECCG, Herbstreit was stunned.
Center Drew Bobo -- foot -- out
Defensive tackle Jordan Hall -- knee -- out
Defensive back Kyron Jones -- ankle -- out
Outside linebacker Gabe Harris -- toe -- out
Linebacker Zayden Walker -- shoulder -- out
Defensive tackle Carter Luckie -- knee -- out

Seems like a right of passage for linebackers to get labrum surgery..I assume that's what it is.
Agree on walker though, he looked like the real deal late. I think I would comp him more to Jalon Walker but thats still pretty good.
I'm hoping KJ has a big year and earns a first round grade. He has been good but hoping he takes that next step for us this year.

Zayden Walker isn't nearly as thick in the hips and backside as Jalon Walker. We're all guessing here, but I'm guesing his future is at inside linebacker, and the only reason he lined up on the edge on third down last season is because he was too good to keep off the field and "go kill quarterback" is easier to learn than the inside linebacker position.

Yeah you could be right. With Cole and Raylen back though I wonder if we still see him more on pass rush situations for this year at least.
Also have Justin williams who is supposed to be the real deal.
On offense I'm wondering how Bobo adjusts to life without branch. Leaning on run game should continue but we will need multiple pass catchers to step and help Gunner and the overall offense fill the void (captain obvious take but still). Would be great if one of those guys was Tayln Taylor
Don't want to derail the thread on the QB but it was an odd year. Post Texas game gunner was getting real Heisman ceremony invitation buzz and then from there he kind of fell of a cliff. Was that defenses adjusting or Gunner regressing. Idk. I just hope he learns to trust himself to throw it to open guys. I feel like he turned a lot of those throws down for some reason late in the year.

The hope is that the Drew Bobo injury derailed the offense and everything will be fine when he gets back, and the hope also is that Gunner will get better in year 2. That's the ordinary progression, but our last quarterbck actually was shittier in his second year after he lost his main playmakers.
I don't know what to expect, to tell you the truth.

Teams saw that gunner was not comfortable throwing to parts of the field. The assumption would be he was not seeing it well and did not want to throw where he could make a mistake. Gunner needs to be comfortable throwing to all parts of the field. Hoping he makes that enhancement to his game this year.

deeprigt9 is a sensitive jerk, but not in a bad way and instead in an endearing way. Once you realize this, it's really not that bad!

Bobo loss definitely hurt. But I think what Peter said lines up more with my lay mans eye test. The brooks Austin breakdown showed several plays where he had good protection and just didn't let it rip.
The progression from year 1 to year 2 does give hope

Peter Buck will forever be calling for more slants and skinny posts, which is ironic because our OC was the best Georgia quarterback I can remember at throwing them.

Pretty sure I saw where Talyn Taylor switched from 11 to 1 too.
