Oklahoma is a top 4 team in the SEC right now and would be a shame for them to miss the tournament

Man I hope Oklahoma makes it in on Sunday. They’re my pick to make a dark horse run. Porter is a great coach and he’s turned that team around

I’m not sold on him still but can’t ignore what he’s done either. This team lost 9 in row and was down for the count. Lost every way possible.

And then something happened in GA game. Sure, the popcorn machine burned up. But they won that game and went on a 8-2 run until tonight.

Moser is more of a long term developer to me. In NIL its harder to keep players longer term so coaches have to shorten up their teachings into shorter cycles. Porter got this team better at the late stages of season so it matches. But he starts off slow.

And I can’t ignore some bad basketball beforehand.

I will just say credit to Moser for keeping his players from quitting. They played hard this last section of season. My guess is he bought another year. Will that resonate with boosters and donors and fans?

Anyways, the 3 tourney games they were fun to watch and full of effort. Thats at least a positive to the likely end of season.
