I do not actually hate our football contract. Having 3 games on ABC every Saturday beats stuffing them all on ESPN and the one shitty CBS game. But the basketball contract is somehow worse than it originally was

CBS was air a few games in basketball before. Now we have ABC that doesnt touch SEC Basketball it.seems. so every other conference gets to have Fox CW CBS etc air their games over the air. Meanwhile we have all our games on the sec network

And to make matters worse we have the conference tournament end on a Sunday when everyone for over 10 years has said it needed to be changed to Saturday but Sankey lets ESPN tell him what to do.

They basically put the big SEC games on ESPN2 most of the time except on Saturdays which is awful. They really watered down our basketball games. I think A&M was on the SEC Network for majority of the season outside of maybe 4-5 ESPN2 games.

The worst about it all this season was that all of Ole Miss' games were actually televised to the public

I know we played Alabama on ABC on Sunday this season.

Why does OTA matter? I gotta imagine the percentage of folks watching CBB with just rabbit ears is pretty low.

The SEC Network production does suck, I'll give you that.
