And every step planned years in advance?

‘This is a sports trip’, Pearl says about team visiting Israel

Establishing affectionate/normalized relations

Bruce takes off to pursue politics, leaving Steven a team of able bodied young men who likely will not have a professional career in basketball

Auburn on Pentagon list for new military partner.

Peter Hegseth is in desperate need of warriors to defend the US and allies.

Was Auburn's demise (even in football) just part of a greater plan falling into place in front of our eyes?

Yes. Pettiford is a future Delta Force member. Jovic is clearly an F35 pilot, and Overton sees his self as a kicking in doors, Marine Recon.

The idiom "when the chips are down" refers to a critical, high-pressure, or desperate moment when a situation becomes very difficult and the final outcome is uncertain. It signifies a time for tough decisions, testing true character, and revealing the true value of people or things.

Why do you start every thread the exact same way? You know the chips aren't always down, you can just ask a question right?

And reality is that the past two years we went all in keeping the team we had together, which came at the cost of recruiting. This year we had to completely overhaul the roster and a multitude of factors impacted that, but ultimately just whiffed on guys and got beat out on others, coupled with some really bad play in the middle of the year by the some of the known players while playing one of the hardest schedules, and here we are. Bruce is deserving a lot of blame for the roster and schedule management for the season and Steven is deserving plenty of blame for how this team has shown up, especially down the stretch, but ultimately it is just a slighly above average team that has largely been slightly above average.

Feigning ignorance to hide your fear. Just be a man and grant me access, not a coward hiding in a safe space.

The OP probably has some online social anxiety so any time he posts a question it is actually a higher pressure situation for him.

He should stick to Reddit. Redditors are more his speed.

Auburn ever being above average in basketball was an unholy house of cards, one that was surely built on a multitude of nefarious activities including the sacrifice of virgins and puppies.
