Vanderbilt, Arkansas and Tennessee with a chance to move up to a four seed.

Auburn needs a run to stay in.

Honestly, I would rather Tennessee lose their first SEC tournament game and possibly move to a six seed. I hate the 4-5 seed and the one seeds are very strong this year.

Alabama/Arkansas Saturday could decide who gets a three seed vs a four seed. I honestly don’t see either beating Florida in the end but the time to get Florida will be a third game in three days.

Otherwise I agree - there’s a benefit to resting and not entering the main tournament spent.

Any chance Houston could get a 2 seed in another region?

If the real committee came to that same ranking of the teams, the bracket would be something like 1 Florida 2 UCONN in the South.

They also would likely change Alabama with another 3 seed so Bama wouldn't be in a bracket with 3 teams they've already played.

I think Lunardi is updating this so quickly every night that he's not tweaking the seeds like the real committee will eventually do.
