Couple times a year we gotta take them out back and beat that arse to show them what’s what. Ain’t too much to talk about. Y’all farm kids come on over and catch this fade and we’ll see you again in the fall for your next tune up.

Nothing to be nervous about. We’re a better team. We have better players. We have a better coach.
We’re going to win. And no matter how this game goes we’re going to the tournament and they’re catching up on household chores.

Is it being greedy to ask for a double digit win?

I agree with everything you said.
I wish I shared your confidence!
I would be happy to hear Chris Stewart say " Let's get outta here!", no matter the score.

Hopefully we get a double digit win!! I will be there cheering them on for the first time in two years -- six weeks after knee replacement. Hopefully I can navigate all those stairs. LOL.

Always a sad moment when it’s the final trip of the season to Tuscaloosa to visit venerable Coleman Coliseum.

Pretty damn great year at Coleman! Through the ups and downs of the season we held home court really well overall.

Overall series record 102-69
60-21 at home
Won 5 of the last 7

Rebound!
There’s no way to fall to a number four seed, correct?

Correct. I believe we are 2 seed if we win or Arkansas loses.

We need to make them quit. If we can get up 14ish, I think they’ll throw in the towel for the season.
Any win, however, likely solidifies Oats’ reign over the entire Pearl fambly for all eternity.
Make ‘em quit, boys!

You are right... To go from 4-4 in SEC play and floundering to having the opportunity to finish tonight at 13-5 and 2nd in the league is really hard to believe.

There was a moment where our top 6 seed streak was slightly in jeopardy, and then this team manned up and totally shut the door on it.
Make a sweet 16, and this year will have been successful IMO regardless what happens from there. Hard fought loss to a 5/6 seed won’t feel good, but the fact that would be disappointing is a testament to where Oats has this program.

I said before the season if the transfers were a swing and a miss that this team could easily be a 7-8 seed just based on lack of interior dominance and lack of length at the guard spot aside from Philon. I was wrong, they certainly have a weak spot but they seem to have really figured out how to play around it against any team outside of those 5-6 teams that are just head and shoulders above the field again this year.

UConn goes down to a bad Marquette team. The Big East is mysterious.
