Like to see the team that can top this bunch. 80 games played with half of them complete pitched games. Future 7 time Cy Young winner. Ain't nobody gonna be better than these guys, nobody. Now what's this crap about Tennessee?

Team record....66-14
ERA....2.72
Complete games pitched 40
1983 CWS Champions, 5-0 defeated James Madison, Oklahoma St., Alabama, Michigan, Alabama

Calvin Schiraldi: 14-2 record. 140 innings pitched. 18 starts. CWS MVP. MLB World Series
Roger Clemens: 13-5 record, 3.04 ERA, 166.0 innings pitched. 20 starts. MLB World Series. Cy Young winner 7 times.
Mike Capel: 13-1 record. 108.2 innings pitched. 17 starts.
Kirk Killingsworth: 12-3 record with 7 saves. 30 games.
Steve Labay: 7-2 record. 10 starts.

FWIW, You had to go against Roger Clemens in the final. Everything started clicking for him that year as he became the rocket.

Go get your shine box. Come back when you get half that pitching staff.

BTW 66-14, that's a lot of winning.

Come back when you have an MLB hall of famer and a CY Young winner who didnt cheat. Imagine never winning 60 games this century…

UTrans had the #1 ERA in the SEC in 2025…

Just to go 0-2 vs UTSA in a home regional

Which of those facts didn’t you like?

I could ask you who UTranny played and lost to in their most recent trip to a CWS Final buttt we both know you already know that answer.

got screwed or was clearly not the best pitcher in the AL? I no universe should anyone but Skubal have won the Cy Young last year in the American League, which is probably why he was close to being a unanimous selection

Crochet has statistically one of the best seasons in Boston history this last year

He also had more wins, more strikeouts, and played in a harder division than Skubal

No one cares about your team from over 40 years ago that was headlines by a known cheater. Tennessee won 60 games 2 years ago. Far more impressive
