Who should it be Paris or Paul?
From a revenue angle I say Paris. With NIL a good coach could turn it around in year 1.
From a Gamecock fan angle I say Paul. Our baseball program used to be elite and something we were proud of.

For me it has to be Paul...and his whole staff. Paris atleast tries and gives a shite. His players do improve, and he has somewhat of a gameplan. He just doesnt have the horses.

replace Mainieri - it's the cheapest to overhaul -
also Lamont actually owns the school record for basketball wins in a season while Paul owns the school record for most SEC baseball loses in a season -
restoring the Omaha pedigree should be a priority - 2 titles and 6 CWS championship appearances - 11 total CWS
1970's - 2
1980's - 3
1990's - 0
2000's - 3
2010's - 3
2020's - none so far -
as for basketball - if it had 2 titles and 6 title appearances and not baseball - I'd lean towards replacing Paris - but I'd still fix the baseball misfit hire Tanner gifted everyone on his way out -

After reading this thread a few days ago I initially thought Paris.
But the more I've though about it, I've landed on Paul if we can just do one.
