Go find a couple G-league or former NBA players… enroll them in school… find a local judge to issue a TRO that they are eligible to play… and do this one day before the start of March Madness? You could probably get a ride the the Final Four before another judge could stop it.

If the NCAA chooses not to punish those who pull these stunts, why is every school not working to line this up for March now?

What’s the downside?

I know you don’t know much about how college classes work and started following basketball a couple years into the first Pearl’s tenure, but spring semester starts in January and you have to be enrolled in school to play sports.

Can easily be handled if player is late in college experience and already has much of the core requirements knocked out

Then it's just the professors doing the athletic department a solid. Didnt someone just transfer last week?

I’m sure at your community college you could enroll for an eight-week trade class in March but it doesn’t work that way at four-year universities, dumbass.

I love how Bama is back to pretending to care about the sanctity of college sports.

Nobody said he wasn't enrolled in the the school, you idiot. Why are you hung up on this?

Sorry non-booster judges came to the grown-up table.

LOL. There’s lots of things that “don’t work” at universities, athletic programs with integrity, judicial courts, etc… but Bama has proven that if you want to cheat badly enough, there are no barriers.

I’m just glad we helped get this thing straightened out.

We now know a player can do any of the following and still be eligible.

A) Graduate high school - play professional overseas for however long as they want

B) play in the G league as long as they never signed an NBA contract

C) be foreign - declare for the draft and get drafted in the first round but never sign a contract and play overseas for 7 years and then come here in the middle of the season as a freshman

… you just cannot sign that pesky ole sheet of paper.

We wouldn’t have done it if the Baylor kid didn’t get deemed eligible. He was a first round draft pick that played more professionally than Bediako, including in the G League. He just never signed a contract.

Big whoops.

Baylor litterally just grabbed a random kid guy from overseas in the middle of the year and everybody acts like it’s perfectly fine.

At least ours was a Bama guy we recruited and actually had a history here.

Yeah exactly this also. Why not just have the judge add in the TRO that said player doesn’t have to be in school? I mean it’s a judge’s TRO. I’ve been told that these have the same standing as the Bill of Rights.

Why are Bama fans such idiots that they can’t see that THIS is the problem??? This “Bama guy” left. On his on. He willingly signed away his eligibility and once he realized he sucked, decided he wanted a do over. That’s the entire point!

Seems more ethical than just picking some rando off FC Barcelona because you need a new center. But that’s just me.

Oh yea college basketball is full of a bunch of future doctors and engineers. GTFO.

You idiots can hardly form a coherent thought and bail as soon as somebody calls out your dumbassery and here I am arguing with you.
