We scored 7 points in 10 seconds in high school. The other team couldn’t get the ball in bounds. Our guy guarding the inbounds had a freakishly long wingspan.

Larry Bird scored 6 or 7 in 4 seconds once.
Shot a bucket, stole the inbound pass and shot another bucket. Then he stole the next inbound pass and scored again.
It's not impossible, but it is way harder if you don't stop the inbound pass and have to foul
