You have a stick up your arse anytime State wears black. It’s just really odd.

I’m convinced it has something to do with Adidas and wanting to diversify away from maroon as to not have two in the conference. Not sure if that makes sense but it’s the only way I can make sense of it. It pisses me off so much that we don’t wear maroon anymore.

ETA- I fricking despise any and everything Adidas has ever done. I know for a fact they lose their asses on merchandise in Starkville. No one buys that garbage

There are 6; Vanderbilt, Missouri, South Carolina, and then the bastardized blacks unis for Tennessee, A&M and State. Screw Adidas and the pony they rode in on I can remember when our black baseball uniforms were not of the same shade and didn't even match. We need to stick to maroon and white with a little gray tossed in for britches.

I feel the same way. I’ve lost count how many times they wear black on tv especially. Is there another school in the country that wears black as much as we do and it not be their school colors? Maybe we get a TEMU discount or something.
