Saw UGA Athletics posted a video on social media about something big coming February 4th. Anyone got any insight? Seen rumors of a new possibly bigger NIL collective to new jerseys

It's just a new collective to replace the CCC

The state of Georgia's economy is 7 or 8 times bigger than Mississippi's economy, and UGA football doesn't have to share the state like Ole Miss. If the Ole Miss collective can bring in 10 million dollars a year, then it'd be pretty pitiful if a football only collective for Georigia couldn't do at least that.

Ole Miss collective has 6,000 members and most of them give 20 dollars month. It's 5,000 dollars a year to get one of the doosy quarter zips though.

The CCC focused mainly on our entrenched donors and milking more and more out of them. The new Glory Glory collective will do that as well but will also have a strong “crowd sourcing” angle that will more resemble what ole Miss is doing. Also those in the know are saying the leaders behind the new collective are much more aligned and organized than the CCC ever was.

I read where the CCC wasn't set up to handle the small recurring monthly donation model and was set up more for to do legitimate NIL deals between businesses and the players. Seems pretty dopy.

There are 372,000 alumni according to the internet. If 1-in-20 of them gave 34 dollars a month and got a signed Herschel Walker photo, that would be over 7 million dollars a year. Get 10,000 sidewalk fans (about 1 out of every 1,100 people in Georgia) to do the same and you'd be over 11 million, which would be pretty healthy.

This new company already seems like they have their shite together a million times better than the CCC.

I signed up for the black level at $75 a month. I’d prefer to switch a couple of the perks for basketball as I don’t attend football games. Now I’m officially subjectively allowed to bitch!

I’m going to signup also. But may give it a minute to let it simmer awhile.

We need to all sign up so we can access the private message board and turn it into the nightmare that we currently have on this board.

I can think of a few retards who should stay and not go to the new board. That would fix the issue 99.9% pretty much immediately.

The message board access actually sounds better to me than the photo ops and practice tickets.

I'm also glad there haven't been any comments yet from people bragging about how they'll never spend a penny donating to the Georgia NIL as if it's some sort of flex. If that's how somebody feels, that's fine. But rambling about it and bragging about it always seemed immature and bizarre.

I don’t really care for any of the perks but I feel like I at minimum should join at the $20 level. We wana bitch about all these other schools and their rich donors buying up championship rosters. Nows our time to put what little money we have as middle class fans where our mouths are.

For economic reasons, I think voluntary crowdfunding has a limited lifespan. Without a gamechanging breakthrough in energy supply, our debt-sodden financial condition ends badly, and use of monetary policy to keep the country solvent is running out of road. Priorities will change.

I couldn't find anything specific, only general stuff. Nothing mentioned of a private discussion board either.

click on "become a member". A screen pops up with the 3 tier levels, then each has a "What's included" thing you can drop-down

Cool, thanks. Didn't see the little "what's included" drop downs.

That is pretty cool, probably going to join, just to be able to go see a football practice.

On the message board, which is a cool perk, I probably wouldn't last long. But then again, it likely wouldn't be populated by mongoloids since it costs money.

I've been to open and closed practices in the past. The practice that's going to be open for GG members is going to likely have thousands of John Q. Fans in attendance so keep that in mind. In other words, you aren't going to see any of the playbook or trick plays or anything cool like that. If you have never attended a college practice it WILL be neat ot see the organization, structure, etc on how we run things and there is certainly entertainment value in that don't get me wrong. But just know going in you aren't getting to see any top secret stuff.
