One More Transfer Window That Could Help Finish Off The Roster.

There is one more transfer window that could provide a player or two for finishing off the roster for next season. If I were the one watching for a pool of candidates to pull from, I would be looking for (1) RB &/or (1) LB &/or (1) WR.
The window is post grad transfers at the end of the spring semester.
Is there anyone out there that could be a good tamper candidate?

There’s only one transfer portal window now and it has officially closed. There are still thousands of players in there looking for a new home that we could sign but no new entries.

He is talking about grad transfers who transfer when they graduate

Those players that are Good should have an agent and their agent should be the contact to the schools. No tampering.

Yes, I’m not naive and realize there is tampering everywhere but I don’t want to be egregious like Ole Miss. I’d prefer we stay as above board as possible.
As for what’s still out there, I still think we need a good edge guy and a good LB. Ha Ha’s brother would be an interesting pickup. Another really good DT/DE that’s at least 300 lbs would be nice.
Problem is, pretty much all the good players have either committed or signed somewhere else. Most of what’s left are crumbs, guys no one has heard of or were buried on the depth chart at schools like Middle Tennessee or Weber State.

Exactly. I assume what is currently in the portal has been passed on by the staff. The only pool of potential fresh names to consider are spring graduates that are nor currently in the portal. Their scholarship to cover finishing their degree would be gone or could be gone if they entered the portal before finishing the spring semester.
The point of my "tampering" comment, are there any potential spring graduate candidates that might fit our needs? If so, the "tampering" I suggest is to touch base with their NIL agents rather than the player directly. Otherwise, Alabama is done with portal additions that are more than developmental players.

Exactly. That is the only source left for additional, non-develpomental transfers.

I think we end up getting HaHa brother.
I don't see us adding a RB through Graduate portal. We probably will add another RB that needs to be developed.
We just added another WR through class of 2026 two weeks ago. So I think we just are focusing on building depth using class of 2026 and continue to evaluate people.
