Say neither of these teams could make it though the SEC “gauntlet”.

They both played extremely easy schedules on par with the weakest SEC schedules possible.

Indiana only jumped up to mid tier level SEC SoS after adding Ohio St in the championship.

There was no “mid-tier” SEC. Half the SEC flat out sucked

Considering much of the SEC was poor this year, there is no "tough" SEC conference schedule. That's the point. Six Big 10 teams would have had a chance to win the SEC regular season.

The sec sucked this year.

I know cause UGA was average at best this year and won the sec
