Kiffin generously offered to continue to coach for the 68k strong Ole Miss Rebs but the idiot AD instead let a fat, mongoloid drunk take the headset whilst begging LSU to loan them back the other coaches that left them. Had Kiffin been allowed to lead the team I fully believe that Ole Miss would still be in the hunt for their first legitimate football title in history. He still would’ve had to overcome that awful defense ran by Golding but the team would’ve had a much better shot.

But instead the Rebs turned into a pumpkin like we knew they would and their dream of ever seeing a legitimate title in their collective lifetime was dashed. There aren’t 3 IQ digits between Golding and Frank Wilson and now you’re all just relegated to be what you’ve always been. I’m sorry guys

Pete Golding has never “fixed” anything in his career. He was given a second chance by the benevolent Lane Kiffin after proving himself to be a drunken buffoon that had failed at every stop as a DC. Saban had to babysit him closely after it became clear he had destroyed the mystique of the vaunted Alabama defense with his drunken ineptitude

I guess yalls "roster raiding when portal opens" says different? Yall "have so much money" I suppose the players coached by both have chosen who they think is a better coach/leader?

Say whatttttt??? All i've heard is that Pete has been the reason OM has had success the past few years and that he is the REAL coach? Why hasnt Pete fortified the trenches??

Newsflash - Petes defense is the reason OM lost and Kiffin/Weis are the only reason yall were in it!

Let it out. You’re in a safe space.

Lane does not even get to this game if he is coach

We already saw how he did against Georgia. A loser.

OM seems to be the ones needing safe space.

Kiffin wouldn't have gotten past Georgia. Remember the two long field goals? Nope - go for it on 4th and get stopped.

You can tell them the truth all you want man, but they have now looped back around to the denial stage again.

It will be fun to watch them go through the stages again over the next few days…..

Comparing the state of both programs in 3 years is the only way to know if PG has what it takes (and LK for that matter). Excited for this renewed rivalry going forward.

Kiffin coached Ole Miss 6 seasons, 3 without Golding and 3 with.

Without Golding: 23-13
With Golding: 34-7

Was the defense dominant this season? No. However, they were very highly rated last season and Kiffin's offense let them down. Ole Miss was a better team in 2024, but coaching (not defensive coaching) let them down.

Ole Miss does not beat UGA in the playoffs with LK coaching. Those 50+ yard fgs are what won that game. LK usually went for it on 4th down in that territory
