Commercials. Touchback. Commercials. 3 and out. Commercials.

Between 8:05 and 8:17, were 4 plays and 15 commercials.

I understand that network deals pay the bills and they are the reason why teams have shiny practice facility palaces, but a TV timeout after a kickoff and then another TV timeout after a 3 and out is just over the top.

Not to mention that the broadcast team blows. They would be a better fit for announcing charitable Olympics or something.

Watch the alternative broadcast. They don’t show the commercials and there is no sound until the game announcers resume talking.

Sounds like people talking watching a NASCAR race at a bar.

When Chris Fowler is calling a game, it feels like a big game, and that's how I judge play by play announcers. So in other words I have no issues with Chris Fowler.

My hope one day is that ESPN will offer the audio they use for SkyCast with the regular sideline camera. Skycast audio is way more immersive and feels way more like you're at the game, but Skycast still has too many holes and the angles get screwy.

Now you know why ESPN wanted the playoff. They wanted to sell MOAR ads lol

This is likely my last season watching commercials, to much footballl between them now. I’m over it.

If you have DirecTV, Channel 105 has the game and doesn’t show commercials. Agree it’s maddening.

Yep I’m watching the 4K broadcast and no commercials. Just silence, I love it.

I just watch the 4K channel, no commercials and just crowd shots.

Still get your point though.

Obviously different broadcasts of the game. The ESPN broadcast with Fowler & company I’m watching now is good.
