head coach of multiple Mtn Brook HS state championships (booooo says my heart)
then went to Samford down the road and won the SoCon twice
now he gets his first SEC win for the aggies
it's gonna be bittersweet for a lot of fans in both Alabama and Auburn when we play this year

Most important thing is that even while rebuilding our basketball program under a new coach with a completely different style of basketball, we maintained scoreboard over LSU. You’d think if LSU could beat us in anything, it would be basketball. Urban ghetto schools usually attract more basketball players than conservative ag schools.

Good guy.
He’s got a very steep mountain to climb ahead of him, as he walked into a situation with one scholarship player on the roster.
But he’s already a fan favorite in the community. He’s attended all baseball and football games, and hasn’t met a stranger … as opposed to Buzz Williams who wouldn’t even go out to eat in order to avoid interacting with anyone.
I hope he succeeds.
