We’re pretty good on receivers but Coleman is at least visiting. I think he goes to Texas in the end though.

I think we're fine at WR...Hale did leave, but if we can get an elite talent at a good value (yeah, I know lol) maybe we pull the trigger. We do have Coleman's position coach now...not sure if they had a close relationship, but you'd think so...but most are just "give me every dollar" guys now sadly.

I had mentioned earlier in the season that if Ty leaves (and I think he does either enter the draft or move on to another school), the loser of the QB (Austin Mack or Keelon Russell) battle will move on too. While in a perfect world we could get some guy with experience to come in, it’s kind of a long shot because that kind of guy wants to start.

Maybe a guy from the FCS level who had some starts and put up some at least pretty good numbers?

The portal isn’t as easy as it sounds. A hot name creates an insane bidding war. The Cincy QB who is considered the top QB in the portal is rumored to have a $7 million offer from Texas Tech. His girlfriend just transferred to Tech. They saw what they were lacking against Oregon so they’re going to just buy it, no matter the cost.
I’m hearing similar stuff about Cam Coleman and Texas. They are supposedly offering $4 million. And just to add some circumstantial evidence, Texas’ top deep threat and Arch’s roommate and good friend, Livingstone is in the portal.
