Why can't OM fans accept that LK's move wasn't personal but strictly business?

What HC wouldn't cash in early on his team's national title run for the opportunity to hold Kim Mulkey's hand at a WBB game while his former team won what people are saying is a CFP instant classic?
At least the Tigers will have the benefit of starting the 2026 season with the "Jane Doe" restraining order already in place and it won't distract from the opening week of conference play.

Ole Miss fans should just enjoy the run and let Lane go.

Ole Miss might not win it all (although I think they can) but a Lane Kiffin coached LSU team will never get this far.

Great pairing of two people who know how to lose to Kentucky at home.

Same reason LSU fans couldn’t let Saban go.. ole miss knows what’s about to happen. Kiffin has a real chance at building a dynasty

Don’t slap them with reality. Let them keep believing Kiffin was the one actually holding Ole Miss back this whole time.

Man for a fanbase that says they don't care about Kiffin and you don't need him and he's the worst, yall sure do talk about him a lot.

Pretty much. I will say, this is a different animal as Saban left us for the NFL and staying on to coach a bowl game (which he did) or BCS game was common place as the deadline of the portal opening didn't exist and the NCAA had yet to frick up things royally by moving up early signing day.
Social media didn't exist when Tuberville left Ole Miss for Auburn, but it didnt seem to have nearly the drama this move does.

If it was strictly business Lane would be at UF
