After all of that and fighting back, why the hell do you not call the QB roll out with a FB or RB pass option that worked so good against TX on the 4 yd line?

That series of plays was the ballgame.

It was a miracle we were in that position and to blow it on the 4? So fricking sad.

This game and 2023 SEC Championship were some of the worst called high-stakes games I’ve ever seen.

Both of them involved Bobo who had so many masterfully called games with an offense that improved throughout the season. The offense completely disappeared in stretches. It happens multiple times a season with him as OC.

That’s the problem with Bobo though.

There has never been a single season in the decade that he has been calling plays for us, that’s he’s gotten it all together.

But there are numerous case studies and film we can go over where our offense looks lost, outplayed, and outcoached.

The sooner this guy retires, because there’s no fricking way Kirby fires his buddy, the sooner we can get back to actually playing championship level football.

He is so risk averse that it makes you wonder what he’s thinking.

We get behind nd come out like gangbusters and score. Gunner was hitting guys. Why aren’t we doing that for 4 qtrs?

ding ding ding thank you sir, been beating this drum for years. Still to this day don't understand how we lost that SECCG or why we ran it more than we passed it when our passing game was by far the strength of that team. Just bizarre decision making at times.

Tell me ANY defense can stop Branch doing an in and out move on the 2. No, lets run it into the teeth of the defense then throw a 20 yard pass to a covered receiver at the back of the end zone.

Yeah. Getting the ball to Branch would've been a must, IMO. Make them stop him.
I'd even have been okay with jump balls to Young/Thomas/Humphreys in that situation if you're not going to get it to the speed guys.
