You know what was even more fascinating than Bernard’s catch?

The fact that there was no pass interference called on the defender! Nice adjustment and catch by Bernard kind of made up for his drop. I wish our receiving corps would go back and watch the way the Oklahoma receivers was helping their qb out by making difficult catches all night.
Ryan Williams seems to catch balls that are not directly on him but drops balls on the regular that are basically hitting the bullseye. It’s crazy how he doesn’t trust his hands and tries to trap the ball instead against his body. Does he not study his own film? Evidently not because he would see he’s actually a better receiver when he can’t trap the ball and can only use his hands to secure it. Baffles the shite out of me!
Also, not getting a lot of mention but Hill’s run on 3rd and goal, up the gut for a 6 yard touchdown was very impressive!

Arguably a facemask on the fall to the ground as well

The missed call on the blatant PI on Horton on 3rd down in the first quarter was egregious. Dude was grabbing Horton with both hands out of his break right in front of the ref.

Agree PBD. How could you miss that call. Then one group of talking heads were arguing that our guy didn’t catch the ball. Never mentioned the obvious interference that wasn’t called. How could it not be interference?

Kirk and Fowler were heavy on OUs side last night. They wanted to review a fumble that we fumbled and promptly recovered?

Said the pi on OU wasn't a foul but ours was easily a foul (it was borderline).

That catch ripped the heart of of Oklahoma and showed Bama can still be Bama. The boys need to keep that mentality from here on out. If they can finally play to their potential and talent they can win the whole thing.

Herbstreit may have had to change his shorts out during commercial breaks. He was falling in love with Mateer on camera the whole first half.

Yes it was the first time I have noticed Herbstreit and Fowler be that way. They have always been Bama leaning when Saban was there, IMO. Yesterday they were definitely waving Okie pom poms till we started throttling them.
