Why does Florida keep hiring G5 coaches? At least get an offensive coordinator from an elite program.

Because it’s worked for them before (Urban Meyer when Utah was still in a G5 conference) and it still works now if you get the right guy (see Curt Cignetti).
Nobody knows shite and there are no guarantees, so all you can do is interview someone that’s had success and make sure they seem like a good fit and hope for the best.

Zook, McElwain, and Muschamp were all coordinators at big programs as well and they didnt work out either. It’s a crap shoot.
