TV executives who knew that there would be small crowds for Tulane and JMU regardless of when they were played, and so decided to match them up against the NFL games on Saturday rather than the A&M/Miami game.

I assume Oregon got the late spot because of the West Coast.

But it's a shame that the only good game of the day is at noon.

It would be a 9am game for Oregon fans.

Not for me. I bought a day pass on sling to watch the game tonight. I made sure to wait to order until I had enough time left to get the Miami vs A&M game tomorrow.

I should also have the majority of the Ole Miss game, which will likely be decided by the time runs out anyway.

I give 0 fricks about watching the Oregon vs JMU game.

Honestly, with NFL games starting late afternoon and prime Christmas party season, putting the best game early during the day is probably the right call from a ratings perspective.

frick the NFL. No reason for them to put on Saturday games to mess with College Football. FWIW I would never watch NFL over college ball anyway.
