Georgia (GHSA) high school football state championships(Dec 15-17th) thread.....

We have come to the denoumont of Georgia HSFB, and thus, the state championships start tomorrow at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta. This is for both tackle and girls flag.
Home teams are bolded. I will update scores as they go final and the winners will be bolded. Good luck to all.
Boys' Finals:
Monday, Dec. 15:
3:30 p.m. — Class A Division II
Bowdon 35 vs.Lincoln County 31
7 p.m. — Class 4A
Benedictine 39 vs. Creekside 42
Tuesday, Dec. 16:
2 p.m. — Class A Division I
Toombs County vs. Worth County
5 p.m. — Class 2A
Carver-Columbus vs. Hapeville Charter

Are these televised through YouTube? I know that they’ll be on GPB but with streaming for tv it doesn’t look like it’s available?

Glad that Lincoln is back. I play cards with a retired coach from that part of Georgia. One of their competetive advantages was holding kids back in kindergarten The assistant head coach was also the PE teacher at the elementary school, and he'd be scouting the kids in kindergarten for speed and agility. They were a dynasty.

When the hell did Georgia start playing these games on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday? Obviously there were extenuating circumstances with the 6A game this year, but shouldn't these always be played on Friday and Saturday?

It has to do with availability of MBS.
They moved to the Monday-Wednesday of the week before Xmas a couple of years ago.

I had Bowdon the first game of the year against Fellowship and they got shut out, 26-0. They've come a long way.
Coach Fendlay is a great coach. And one intimidating motherfricker. Good to deal with, though. Great guy

I know that announcing is hard, but these two announcers have been really bad for a long time. I'm convinced that the color commentator has CTE from his playing days, and Matt Stewart is a space cadet. I've never seen a play by play guy frick up so often and be so oblivious.
Beau Bock and Steak Shapiro used to call some of these championship games on GPTV. Those were the best.
