If the top 4 seed rules hadn't been changed an 11-2 Tulane would be the #4 playoff seed..

The committee has the issue of the ACC possibly not getting a team in but if they didn't change the top 4 seed rules an 11-2 Tulane G5 team would have a bye week and be the # 4 seed.

Cool. Let’s change the rules again. Let’s change them every couple years. It clears things up tremendously.

I do think they should guarantee all power 4 champions get a spot even if you get a Duke situation. It makes the conference games more important than just saying the highest rated conference team is guaranteed a spot.

I'm good with this only if we do something about the silly tiebreakers.
