Conference championships need to go

Unless you get a golden matchup like Georgia, or you're Indiana with huge emotional investment, conference championships are meaningless. They’re a huge burden during a key part of the season and they complicate playoff selection. With the playoffs now being much longer, conference championship games are pointless. Now we’ve got two “make-a-wish” G5 teams potentially sneaking into the playoff.
At the end of the day, would you rather win the natty or the conference championship?

yup, They're going to have to delete CCGs and play 9 or 10 conference games. ND has to join a P4 conference or GTFO.
Oh, and each P4 conference needs to submit their conference seedings based on their tiebreaker rules to the selection committee. Selection committee will use this in decision making.

Ohhh I know this was coming. All the whiny teams who can’t win conference championships or firmly place themselves in the playoff.” Bubble teams” they want to cancel it now bc it’s changing the way the playoffs are selected

If you’re gonna eliminate the conference championship game, then you’re going to have to reduce the sizes of these conferences.
How can you call a team the “conference champion” if they haven’t played every team in the conference? What if Bama is undefeated and crowned, but their schedule didn’t have them playin UGA, aTm, Texas, or LSU? You can’t really say that they would beat those four teams, now can you. Kind of muddies the water.
10 team conferences- everyone plays everyone else. Top team gets crowned.

No one gives a shite about a conference champion anymore. It's all about the playoffs and national champion.
