This is all a set up . They moved Bama up close to either jump OU if they win or move both OU and Bama up if BYU beats Tech. Tech would still get in BYU ahead of them . Pretty sure it’s all a set up . Who knows how far UGA will fall if they lose maybe to 5. To me Indiana and Ohio state are locks to have a bye and are the only locks .
The committee wants BYU to lose Tech and then Miami and ND are side by side and Miami gets in. I don’t think even with losses UGA below hosting . BYU could possibly move Tech from hosting imo .
I am expecting with a Bama win now they are going to be rewarded for winning the sec champ if they do and pass over OU… sucks but to be honest if OU had won the sec I would want that to happen as well. I see a zero chance of OU and Bama playing in the 1st round as well as any other matchup . If Bama loses then I think A@M will play them as Bama a 10 seed.

The committee will do whatever it has to do to get a Carson Beck vs UGA playoff game. There is definitely a lot of media influence in these rankings.

Alabama, Miami, and ND cannot all get in. Its impossible due to the rules.
