Isn't that the same logic some are making for Miami to be ranked ahead of Notre Dame?

The "head-to-head" logic only applies when the team one is pulling for is the head-to-head winner against the team one is not pulling for.

This has nothing to do with Texas

Talking heads like Josh Pate are lobbying for Miami over Notre Dame due to the Canes squeaking past the Fighting Irish back during week one in Miami

A Texas poster could be asking if the CFP championship game is serving Coke products or Pepsi and will still feel like an attempt to weasel into the field.

Not my rules. It’s what has been set up by the eleventy billion threads started on the issue.

And we should as fans be able to see a game like that.

Instead you are getting some team with a terrible sos playing in the 10-11 spot.
