Are the 1 and 2 seeds locked into their respective league tie-ins or do they get a choice? For instance let's say OSU and UGA finish 1 and 2. Would OSU be obligated to the Rose and us to the Sugar or would the teams get any say? Not that we would want to go elsewhere, I'm just curious.

Then when you get to the Semis with Fiesta/Peach how is that done...does the higher seed determine it or are those bowls already tied into a particular side of the bracket?

I think I read somewhere that the Rose Bowl there is an agreement with the big 10. Could be wrong though

I believe this is correct. The committee ultimately decides the quarterfinals, but take the tie-ins into heavy consideration. Basically, we will be in the Sugar if we get a bye.

For the Semifinals, the #1 seed gets to “pick”.

Also, Could be a crazy scenario we play Bama for a 3rd time, with 2 of them being in the dome though
