Will A&M ever be a top school in Texas?

Their best season ever in this century, and A&M is still arguably 3rd, maybe 4th best team in their own state.
Lost all momentum going into the playoffs and likely will lose their first game. What does A&M have to do to finally not be little brother?

No. Aggie‘s best season since 1939 and they still can’t beat Texas.

The last team to play for a championship from Texas was TCU and A&M and Texas will both be ranked behind Texas Tech. You are both little brother

As long as you don’t play one of your big brothers in the playoffs, yall should be good!
However a week 1 rematch with Texas would be fantastic. To lose to them twice in a year? Amazing.
