in his post game press conference, Kirby addresses the bizarre question of whether it is 'better' for Georgia to have missed the SECCG. Hard for me to believe this is even a real question, but please take a listen if you think it is somehow 'better' for the University of Georgia Bulldogs to miss the SEC Championship game:

Listen to this. All of this. And learn.

With an 11-1 record, playing in the SEC CG is not a win or die situation.

That being said, there is a possibility of playing the same conference opponent a total of three times in one season. That is insane...

Didn’t beck get hurt in this game? There is absolutely no benefit to playing these games anymore. Just name a champion or co champions and move on.

There was a time when I would have given my left nut for a chance to play in this game.

I think Kirby just said that because if they ended up in the game, then he needed to be able to show his players he wanted it before he knew they were in. I don’t truly think he wanted to be in the game due to injuries.

I think if we beat bama in Atlanta they’d be eliminated.
