Title hopes. According to Elliott's 2025 numbers, the top teams who have a legitimate chance to win this season's national title in regards to their BCR percentage are:
Alabama - 89%. Still has a shot- Jekyll and Hyde on offense and zero ground game
Ohio State - 89%. Strong defense but unstable ground game . Has been untested
Georgia - 84% finding its stride at the right time- offense has been consistent and defense getting better
Texas A&M - 82% defensive issues but offensively legit
Oregon - 78% Strong offensively but defense is a question mark, also untested
Texas - 78%. Needs a miracle
LSU - 73%. Not happening
Notre Dame - 73%. Offensive machine but weak competition after the first two losses
Oklahoma - 70%. Defensive juggernaut but lacks an explosive offense
Alabama - 89%. Still has a shot- Jekyll and Hyde on offense and zero ground game

Interesting. I know a lot of people will be talking about parity caused by NIL and the Transfer Portal....makes me wonder what the percentages were like in past seasons, to see if they are dropping or not.

Not really. Before NIL/portal you had Bama/Clemson/UGA/OSU. Now it's Bama/UGA/OSU/Texas.

Yeah but we aren't seeing as many blowouts as before and moral victories mean more today than it did yesterday.

I wish we could keep statistics on those but first must agree on what qualifies as a moral victory.
I know Auburn and Alabama both claimed one after losing to Oklahoma, IDK if Tennessee did or not.

OU is a dark horse in this race so here it's is. If OU can muster long drives and BTW #1 in the red zone, perfect. Then our great D will clamp down and make you confused, then turn over for OU.
