1. A win, regardless of the opponent is always good, even against a bad team like EIU.

2. Some people are bitching about Ty and how he's "terrible". He's not. I am convinced he's hurt. Go back to him running twice yesterday. If you watch closely when he ran twice yesterday, he was literally kind of jogging out there, not running hard. Also, his throws are sometimes a bit off. Then, there's the rumors that he's injured his back and has had to go through extensive treatment every day. I don't KNOW this for a fact but it makes sense.

If you've had back problems (I have), you know you can't run much if at all. It would also be painful to throw a ball. I know he's been a good soldier and waited his turn but IF he's badly hurt and really can't go, he probably needs to sit. No one player is more important than the team.

3. Good to see Mack and Russell get some snaps. I'd be comfortable with either of these guys out there. Both have big arms on them and hum that ball. Gonna be a hell of a battle for the job come Spring.

4. Defense played their asses off. Yes, it was EIU but they played very well. Even the second and third team guys looked good. We have some good looking young LBs, QB Reese, Luke Metz, Justin Hill and Noah Carter, etc.

5. Good to see a lot of runs. AK Dear looked good. Maybe because he's fresh? Will this translate and carry through to Auburn and beyond? Maybe, maybe not.

6. Connor Talty. Lord have mercy. He's just terrible. We DESPERATELY need a reliable kicker next year. Portal?

7. I'm hoping we get Brailsford and Bernard back next week. Gonna need them.

The OL was pretty leaky at times yesterday for it to be EIU. They have to get better footwork to stay engaged with their assignments and quit reaching so much on the edges.

We need a new OL coach. Everyone outside of our C doesn’t have very good fundamentals. Pretty bad in some cases

Hard to believe Ty is notably injured to the point he can’t perform if they call designed run plays for him.

They are making excuses.

Every player who was playing with an injury got rested (Brailsford, Germie Bernard) but KDB will trought out his QB and run him when he's injured?

These conspiracies are too stupid to even insult

The difference is that sitting your starting can be used against Alabama with CFP committee. Just ask FSU two years ago.

No one on the committee cares if your center isn’t playing.

Just admit you have your weird grudge against Ty. You act like he called your mother a prostitute. I know your guy Radio was terrible and you humiliated yourself covering for his incompetent arse but that doesn’t mean you have to let your vendetta taint your objectivity.
